I placed an online order. Food was ready 1 minute after I arrived to pick it up. The first staff member to greet me was very kind. Pleasant, help me out right away. Food was amazing. As always, always have had a good rep with g q barbecue, highly recommend this place
The food is fantastic! I got wings and my friend got a brisket sandwich, we shared fries and onion rings. The wings where cooked perfectly and had a great flavor, sweet and a little spicy. And the fries are amazing crispy outside, soft inside and the seasoning is so good! The staff was friendly and helpful, I believe the manager or owner walked around checking on tables as well!! Forgot to take pictures but will be back to try other things!
As a born and raised Texan....we are very particular about our BBQ. I was quite surprised about the flavor of their BBQ. It was very good. I had the 1/2 pound turkey with Mac and cheese and green beans. Excellent. I suggest the spicy sauce on it!!

I’ve had BBQ all across the country, and this place easily makes my top list — and not just for the food (which is incredible), but the whole experience. Let’s talk about the food first — starting with the wings. Hands down, these are the best wings I’ve ever had in the U.S. The buffalo flavor is everything you want: tangy, spicy, crispy on the outside, juicy inside. Absolute perfection. The brisket was also a highlight. For Colorado standards, it was superb — smoky, tender, and packed with flavor. What took it over the top for me was their Zesty Mustard Sauce. That stuff should be bottled and sold — it’s bold, tangy, and paired perfectly with the brisket. They’ve also got a great rewards program that’s actually worth using: • 1st visit: Free pulled pork sandwich (mine was fantastic) • 2nd visit: 3 free ribs • 3rd visit: 5 free wings (get the buffalo!) Now for the service — truly next-level. Braiden took my order at the counter and later checked in at my table to make sure everything was great. Super friendly and professional. Cuyler, the manager, also came by to chat about the food — awesome guy, clearly passionate about the customer experience and what they’re serving. James helped me out with several different request I asked for, what a SUPERSTAR EMPLOYEE! What really stood out to me, though, was the energy among the staff. Watching the way they interacted with each other, it’s clear they’re not just coworkers — they genuinely seem like friends who enjoy being there. That positive vibe spills over into the whole experience and makes the place feel warm, relaxed, and inviting. Every employee was very friendly, welcoming, and kind, and the entire team gave off this upbeat, easygoing energy that made me want to stay longer. We ordered take-out for a tailgater at the Broncos game. The manager went out of his way to return a late-night call about our order. They accommodated two changes to our pickup time the next morning. BBQ was outstanding with just the right amount of smoke - we had ribs, wings (dry-rub), brisket, slaw, and beans. This is our new favorite BBQ! Great food! Great customer service!
We recently had a holiday community event and decided to have it catered by G-Que BBQ in Lakewood. To order, we called, and although they were super busy, Cuyler patiently listened to our requests and concerns and provided options to meet our needs and suggestions for saving money. A few days later, on event day, Matt assisted us. He provided tips on using the warmer trays and had all our food, plates, and silverware boxed up and ready to go. The event went great. Our guests enjoyed the food and took home to-go plates. We also followed up with Matt, and he ensured the reward points were correctly added to our account. Overall, a great customer service experience from not just these two excellent managers, Cuyler and Matt, but from the general staff as well, who were welcoming and helpful through and through. 5 stars for the care and service our company had received from the Lakewood team. We are looking forward to working with them in the future!
We went for Happy Hour and had a blast. We sat on the patio that faces Belmar. They explained how everything works there and our menu choice. They even gave a sampler of their wings. Everyone was really nice. Food was great. We had pulled pork sliders and brisket cheese fries. They have a variety of sauces. We aren't sauce people when it comes to BBQ but we tried the mustard sauce and it was tasty. The wings were Alabama sauce, Buffalo sauce, original Dry rub. The Alabama sauce was delicious, Buffalo sauce was impressive, and the Rub was okay. Staff were great! Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
G-Que BBQ is easily one of the best barbecue spots I’ve tried in Colorado (I haven’t had many). The brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of smoke. The ribs had a nice bite to them and they also had a rich, savory bark that really stood out. Sausage had a great snap and seasoning. The jalapeño wasn’t too much heat at all. The mac and cheese was creamy, satisfying, and uniquely flavored. I destroyed it. Easily the perfect side. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I appreciated how everything was clearly marked on the menu, making it easy to order even for a first timer. Their “’til it’s gone” policy is no joke, especially if you’re planning to come later in the day, be prepared that some items might sell out. That said, it’s a sign of how popular and fresh the food is. I’d definitely recommend G-Que for anyone looking for high quality BBQ in a relaxed setting. Great for groups, quick lunches, or a laid back dinner.
Some of the best wings I have had in Colorado. Every rub is fantastic and you honestly can’t go wrong with any choice. The brisket sandwich is delicious especially if you add a little of the bbq sauce they have on the table. The portions are great for the price. This is the best bbq I have had outside of Texas, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
Best bbq in Colorado 😋 I love the lean brisket and their gold bbq sauce. I moved to Littleton and still make the trek here at least once a month to treat myself. My best memory here was going to check the place out during their opening week to have lunch. The founder Jason sat with me and chatted a bit while my food was being prepared and gave me a couple coupons for free scoops of ice cream. When I was done he asked how everything was and seemed genuinely interested. Super cool experience.
